A Once-in-a-Lifetime Concert: Earthless to Perform “Uluru Rock” at Uluru
In an unprecedented fusion of music and nature, the legendary psychedelic rock power trio Earthless will deliver a once-in-a-lifetime performance at SHADOW OF ULURU. The band will play their epic instrumental masterpiece “Uluru Rock” at the very location that inspired its creation, bringing their thunderous sound to the heart of the Australian outback for an unforgettable night under the stars.
Known for their mind-expanding compositions and electrifying live performances, Earthless has built a cult following across the globe. But this event transcends any stage they’ve played before. Uluru, one of the world’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders, will serve as muse for a performance that promises to be as moving as it is sonically explosive.
"Playing 'Uluru Rock' at Uluru itself is something we never could’ve imagined when the song came to life”, says guitarist Isaiah Mitchell. "It is such a high honor to be invited to perform our music in this sacred place with such deep cultural and spiritual significance. The intention with our performance in the Shadow of Uluru is to celebrate the land, the people, and the energy that makes this place so powerful."
This exclusive event will be held with deep respect for the Anangu people, the traditional custodians of the land. Organisers are working closely with local Indigenous community leaders to ensure that the performance honours the cultural significance of Uluru, incorporating storytelling, ceremonial elements, and a profound respect for the sacred site. Local Anangu guitar shredder Jeremy Whiskey will be a star performer on the night, alongside Californians Brant Bjork Trio, and Cherokee activist doom metal act Divide and Dissolve.
Fans from around Australia will make the journey to witness this intimate one-time-only performance, celebrating Indigenous culture, natural wonder and rock music. SHADOW OF ULURU takes place following Blacken Open Air on Tuesday, 23rd September, 2025.
